Tasks and responsibilities Define and enforce ServiceNow architectural standards, ensuring solutions leverage out‑of‑the‑box capabilities, follow platform best practices, and align with scalability, security, and maintainability principles (Flow Designer/Schedule Jobs, scoped applications standards, REST API, Data models, security ACLS, deployment strategies… ).
Act as a ServiceNow subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on optimal platform usage and continuous improvement opportunities. Support the development teams, guiding the design, development, qualification, and maintenance of complex applications. Implementation of best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, set technical direction, and drive the successful delivery of new tools and system enhancements. Ensure all deliverables comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry’s best practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities, including high-quality code, unit/integration tests, and technical specifications.
Requirements Bachelor's / Master's Degree in a relevant field. Proven experience in ServiceNow development and architecture (e.g., ITSM, integrations, scoped applications). Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities such as Flow Designer, schedule jobs, REST API integrations, data modeling, ACLs, and application scoping.
Hands-on experience with update sets and deployment strategies within ServiceNow. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies and code quality standards. Solution‑oriented mindset and ability to work in an international and intercultural environment.
Fluent in business English, with outstanding communication skills (written and verbal). ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, ITSM, or CIS) are a plus. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage.
