About this role
As an Enterprise Architecture Manager, LeanIX, you will own the governance, evolution, adoption, and value realization of LeanIX as the Enterprise Architecture repository and system of record for IT landscape transparency. You will translate Enterprise Architecture priorities into a sustainable repository operating model, trusted architecture data, and decision-ready reporting. You will work with Enterprise and Domain Architects, Application Owners, IT leaders, transformation programs, and business stakeholders, connecting current-state and target-state architecture information with strategic planning, investment decisions, simplification, and risk reduction.
Your responsibilities: Own the LeanIX operating model, product roadmap, governance standards, and continuous-improvement backlog in alignment with Enterprise Architecture priorities. Govern the LeanIX meta model, Fact Sheets, relationships, taxonomies, surveys, reports, dashboards, integrations, and access model. Ensure LeanIX provides coherent current-state, transition-state, and target-state views across business, application, data, integration, and technology architecture.
Define and enforce the LeanIX data governance framework, including ownership, mandatory attributes, quality rules, validation cycles, escalation paths, and remediation mechanisms. Orchestrate data collection and validation with Application Owners, Domain Architects, technology owners, and other data providers across the organization. Lead the methodology and governance for Application Portfolio Management, including portfolio segmentation, lifecycle status, architecture fit, business criticality, risk, cost, and strategic alignment.
Plan and facilitate T.I.M.E. assessments and application rationalization cycles, translating findings into prioritized optimization and modernization recommendations. Enable technology lifecycle and obsolescence management by connecting application dependencies with technology risks and mitigation actions. Develop executive-ready dashboards and narratives that connect architecture information with cost optimization, simplification, delivery speed, risk reduction, and compliance.
Define role-based onboarding, training, guidance, and community activities that improve LeanIX adoption and data accountability. Your qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Substantial professional experience in Enterprise Architecture Management, Application Portfolio Management, IT governance, IT strategy, or architecture consulting.
Hands-on experience managing LeanIX or a comparable Enterprise Architecture Management repository in a large and complex IT environment. High proficiency in LeanIX administration and configuration, including meta-model design, Fact Sheets, quality controls, reporting, and repository management. Proven experience defining and operating repository governance, data quality frameworks, ownership models, KPIs, reporting, and improvement roadmaps.
Strong knowledge of Application Portfolio Management, technology lifecycle management, architecture fit assessment, T.I.M.E. methodology, and rationalization governance. Experience producing executive-level architecture insights, dashboards, roadmaps, and decision materials. Ability to influence data owners and decision makers across business and IT functions without relying solely on formal authority.
