Position Description
The Low Voltage Technician I supports Applied Medical by installing and maintaining low voltage wiring systems across the campus. This role, also referred to as a low voltage installer or structured cabling technician, works closely with the Low Voltage team to learn cable installation, termination, and testing while building toward independent project work. The Low Voltage Technician I contributes to a reliable, well-built low voltage infrastructure that supports Applied Medical's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Install and maintain low voltage wiring systems throughout the facility.
- ✓Assist with cable installation, termination, and dressing.
- ✓Pull, terminate, and test data for low voltage cables.
- ✓Install support structures, including racks, trays, slings, and j-hooks.
- ✓Read and interpret technical drawings to guide installation work.
- ✓Operate basic power tools and test equipment safely.
- ✓Work from elevated positions, including aerial lifts, in accordance with safety standards.
- ✓Collaborate with the Low Voltage team to complete projects efficiently and to Applied Medical's standards.

- ✓Current and valid California driver's license and ability to meet Department of Motor Vehicles check requirements.
- ✓Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
