Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Inbound Operations team within the EMEA Distribution Center.

The Inbound Expert role builds upon the responsibilities of an Inbound Associate by combining operational excellence with advanced process knowledge, equipment expertise, and administrative support responsibilities. The role serves as a key resource within the inbound operation, supporting process execution, inventory integrity, and knowledge sharing across the team.

In this role, you will primarily support inbound warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory handling, and material movements. Depending on operational requirements, you may also provide support to outbound and other warehouse functions to help ensure smooth daily operations and customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute inbound warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, put-away, and material handling.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other material handling equipment, in accordance with safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock integrity through proper transaction processing and inventory controls.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory investigations, and inventory-related activities as required.
  • Support specialized supplier processes and develop expertise in designated inbound workflows.
  • Perform administrative warehouse activities, including SNAG handling, transaction processing, and data validation within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Utilize WMS and related systems to accurately process inventory movements, resolve exceptions, and support operational reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to temporary workers and new team members to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
  • Support outbound operations and cross-functional warehouse activities during peak periods or changing business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and Fluke Business System (FBS) standards.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably within a distribution center environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inbound warehouse processes and inventory management.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other material handling equipment, or the ability to obtain required certifications.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related inventory transaction processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Basic administrative skills and ability to perform system-based transaction processing.
  • Flexible team player willing to work across multiple warehouse functions.
  • Ability to support, coach, and share knowledge with temporary workers and less experienced team members.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong focus on safety, productivity, and customer service.

Why Join This Role?

This position offers the opportunity to further develop warehouse and logistics expertise while gaining exposure to a broad range of operational processes within the EMEA Distribution Center. As an Inbound Expert, you will play an important role in supporting operational excellence, maintaining inventory integrity, and contributing to the success of the inbound operation through specialized knowledge, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
