Your new role As AI Business Solutions Lead, you will own and drive the AI agenda within Global Direct Procurement. Working closely with procurement leaders, digital specialists and cross-functional stakeholders, you will identify opportunities where data, analytics and AI can create lasting business impact. You will combine strong business acumen with technical insight to move initiatives from idea to adoption, ensuring that solutions solve real business problems and deliver sustainable value.
In this role, you will: Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, define opportunities and identify where AI and digital solutions can create the greatest value. Build and prioritize a portfolio of AI initiatives, developing business cases, success metrics, roadmaps and adoption strategies that align with organizational objectives. Lead AI-enabled transformation initiatives from discovery through deployment and scale, collaborating with product teams, data specialists and business leaders across Novo Nordisk.
Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions, influencing decisions and helping leaders navigate opportunities, risks and investments related to AI and digital transformation. Translate business challenges into practical and scalable AI solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs, technology capabilities, governance requirements and responsible AI principles. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how AI shapes procurement decision-making across a global organization while contributing to Novo's broader digital transformation journey.
Your new department You will join the Digital Procurement team within Global Direct Procurement. The team works at the intersection of procurement strategy, business transformation, data and technology, driving initiatives that strengthen decision-making, improve supplier collaboration and enable operational excellence. Working closely with procurement, finance, supply chain and enterprise technology functions, the team plays a central role in identifying and delivering innovative solutions that create value across the organization.

Your skills and qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you bring strong experience leading digital, data or AI-driven initiatives and can confidently engage both business and technical stakeholders. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior leaders and translating complex challenges into actionable solutions.
We are looking for candidates with: A master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience within digital transformation, AI, analytics, technology consulting, data-driven business development or similar areas. Experience developing or delivering AI-enabled solutions, including exposure to large language models and modern AI technologies.
Knowledge within one or more areas such as machine learning, advanced analytics, data engineering or business intelligence. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge, influence and guide decision-making across different organizational levels. It would be considered an advantage if you have experience within procurement, supply chain, life sciences or other highly regulated industries.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
