We are looking for a detail-oriented Technician (m/f/d) Production to join our Optical Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality optical components, performing inspections and testing, and supporting production activities in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
The successful candidate will be skilled in handling small precision components, identifying defects, operating optical production equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- ✓Manufacture optical lenses and components according to quality and production requirements.
- ✓Perform inspections and standardized testing procedures to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- ✓Follow and support Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
- ✓Prepare optical production rooms, equipment, and machinery for manufacturing operations.
- ✓Utilize metrology and measurement tools for production and quality control activities.
- ✓Support ISO standards, quality systems, and site compliance requirements.
- ✓Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- ✓Assist in the development and improvement of Standard Work Instructions.
- ✓Communicate production progress, issues, and improvement opportunities to supervisors and team leaders.
- ✓Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment where required.
Your Qualifications
- ✓High School Diploma, GED, vocational, or technical education.
- ✓Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technician or equivalent relevant experience.
- ✓Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- ✓Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- ✓Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- ✓Ability to work with very small precision components.
- ✓Ability to identify and solve routine production-related issues.
- ✓Ability to understand manufacturing processes and follow detailed procedures.
- ✓Experience using measurement and metrology tools.
- ✓Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Preferred
- ✓Experience in optical manufacturing or precision manufacturing.
- ✓Knowledge of optical production processes and equipment.
- ✓Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
Working Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and involves
- ✓Working with microscopes and precision tools.
- ✓Handling small, delicate components.
- ✓Extended periods of focused visual work.
- ✓Standing, sitting, and fine hand manipulation for prolonged periods.
