Perform MQ upgrades, patching, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

Configure SSL/TLS for security, authentication, and authorization for MQ objects. Troubleshoot message flow issues between producers/consumers (JMS, MFT, MQSeries clients). Monitor MQ queue depths, channel status, and Aspera transfer throughput; respond to and resolve alerts within SLA.

Manage large-file transfer SLAs — diagnose slow or failed transfers, tune bandwidth/rate policies, and validate encryption-in-transit configuration. Perform first-line triage on message and file delivery failures across both platforms; escalate to platform engineering when root cause requires deeper investigation. Execute routine operational tasks: patching, certificate renewals, capacity/queue-depth monitoring, backup verification.
