Job Summary As a Senior Consultant – Project Manager within Global Learning Content Services (GLCS) at Eli Lilly and Company, you will be instrumental in leading and executing strategic learning content initiatives. This role requires a blend of business acumen, leadership, and project management expertise to drive impactful learning solutions across our global organization. Job Responsibilities Lead and manage complex global learning content projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with stakeholders across various functions and regions to understand learning needs and translate them into actionable project plans. Drive change leadership within learning content development processes, fostering adoption of new tools, methodologies, and best practices. Utilize data literacy to analyze project performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize content effectiveness and delivery.
Exercise sound decision-making in navigating project challenges, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, ensuring alignment with GLCS and company objectives. Exert strategic influence on key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gain consensus, secure resources, and champion innovative learning solutions. Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of learning materials.
Manage project budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively. Communicate project status, risks, and successes clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders. Job Qualifications Demonstrated Business Competence with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and corporate learning needs.
Proven ability to build and nurture effective Business Partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Track record of successful Change Leadership in implementing new processes or technologies within a complex organizational environment. Strong Data Literacy skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and use analytics to inform project decisions.
Excellent Decision Making capabilities, with a history of making sound judgments under pressure and in ambiguous situations. Highly developed Strategic Influence skills, capable of persuading and motivating others to achieve desired outcomes. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on learning and development or content creation.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Education, Project Management) or equivalent practical experience. PMP certification preferred. Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-functional teams.
